I'm running for TDSB Trustee first and foremost for my kids, about to start school themselves. I worry about the impact of disruptive new technologies; I'm concerned about health and safety issues in schools; and I'm frustrated with chronic underfunding of the school system by the provincial government. These are turbulent times for Etobicoke families and all Canadians, and I believe that when my community faces challenges, I have a responsibility to get involved in setting things right.
 

With years of board governance experience, a lifetime of passionate community service, and a proven record of effectively advocating for - and winning - policy changes that benefit working families, I am ready to hit the ground running on day one to navigate these challenges.

Etobicoke families deserve a meaningful say in our school system. Students deserve safe, healthy, inclusive schools and world-class educations. Teachers deserve the resources to do the jobs they love. I know how to listen, get the facts, build consensus, make a plan, and then drive collective action to get things done. And I'm ready to put those skills into action - for my kids, and for every family in Etobicoke.​​

But don't just take my word for it. Many of you have seen me in action over years of community service. And I've been endorsed by education workers, elementary and secondary teachers, and several former Etobicoke Trustees. The people who know the job, trust me to do the job.
